It’s a wise man who understands that every day is a new beginning, because boy, how many mistakes do you make in a day? I don’t know about you, but I make plenty. You can’t turn the clock back, so you have to look ahead. Mel Gibson
Our journey in property began many years ago, more by accident than through a clear strategy. Since then we have grown our portfolio to the point where it is on the verge of being able to support us without the need for a separate job. However, it has not been plain sailing and there have been many challenges along the way that, at times, have made us question whether we are doing the right thing.
We have many ideas for this web site but the underlying theme is to help people with their property journeys. Whether it is through an illustration of our journey, explanations of property investing strategies or recommendation of tools and education we hope to share our knowledge and experience to help make your journey a little easier and a bit faster … and perhaps learn a bit more along the way.
We definitely can’t promise to remove all of your challenges and cancel out all of the risks that you will face. You will make some mistakes … let me repeat that … you will make some mistakes and you need to get over it! The challenge is to make these mistakes as small as possible and ones that will help to accelerate your learning rather than cause a major obstacle in your journey. If we can help to minimise those risks then we will have gone some way to meeting our objectives.
We have loads of ideas for great content but we are not going to promise a daily or even weekly update. Like you we busy building our property empire so please check back from time to time to see what’s new. We are also planning a newsletter so will provide the opportunity for you to sign up … if you don’t get enough property information already!
you can get a good idea of the content we will be building from the structure of the menu. We also have lots of ideas for posts including Why to invest in property?, the South Wales property market (we might need to split that one up!), the new Rentsmart scheme and its impact and a subject that is very close to my heart … all things productivity (ok, it’s a bit boring, but pretty important).
So, buckle and up and lets get on with the journey.
